• Be at least 16* years of age.

• Be able to perform physical activities such as lifting.

• Be able to complete the EMT curriculum (we will arrange training at no cost to you).

• Be able to obtain a Professional Level CPR card (we will arrange training at no cost to you).

 *Members aged 16 & 17 are cadets. Full active members are 18.​
 

• You do NOT need to have any prior training or experience before joining us. 

• You do NOT need to be a Bergenfield resident in order to join but we do have a limit on the percentage of out of town members we can accept.
